I managed to make some progress on the Manticore during last weeks. I finally chose to use the 1:48 Phoenix from the Hasegawa kit to represent the manticore missile.

A space to share modelling techniques on many subjects. While mainly centered upon scratchbuilding Warhammer 40K vehicles, you will also find the occasional WWII model.

An out and out awesome creation. Much more 'real' a feel than any other conversions. All the right details in all the right places. Love it.
Nice model!
I can't help but wonder if removing the radar dish would solve your "AA-look" problem. Nothing says "Anti-aircraft" like a big radar dish (especially when it's a really nice one like yours!). Most SSM units don't need a radar...

Looks amazing! That radar system really is so cool, though I agree with maturin that it might be giving the tank that feeling of being an AA defense. I'm excited to see how it looks when painted.
missouri car insurance It is great to see how your success has developed and the long road you’ve taken. My sincerest wish is to be in a similar situation, one day. Wow you have a lot of spam comments on your blog. This is a real one though! Great work on the Manticore, really nice to see some different model kits used and like Grey_Death says it has the right detail in all the right places.
